Earth Hour 2009 Follow Up
It was great to see Region 10 members to get on board for EArth Hour 2009.  While the chapters in Region 10 are earth_hour_-_region_10_-_2009.jpgall spread out, this was a great way we all could get together as a region to participate in a Regional event.

Region 10 is proud to be thinking green for planet Earth.

Well done to all R10 chapters/members who got on board and we thank everyone else who also joined the cause!

JT
Deputy Regional Coordiantor - COMPOPS

Earth Hour 2009
Region 10 members are participating in the 2009 EArth Hour.  As a region we feel this is important event and encourage everyone else to jump on board in your local area.

About Earth Hour

VOTE EARTH

YOUR LIGHT SWITCH IS YOUR VOTE

This year, Earth Hour has been transformed into the world’s first global election, between Earth and global warming.
For the first time in history, people of all ages, nationalities, race and background have the opportunity to use their light switch as their vote – Switching off your lights is a vote for Earth, or leaving them on is a vote for global warming. WWF are urging the world to VOTE EARTH and reach the target of 1 billion votes, which will be presented to world leaders at the Global Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen 2009.

Atlantis Giving a Helping Hand
Reported by: Captain Jayden 'JT' Tyronian

As a Correy chapter, doing some things that our friends in Meeting chapters can do with more ease can prove difficult at times in some circumstances for Correy’s.  Since her acceptance of my personal invitation to join USS Atlantis after the former USS Bondar of Region 10 decommissioned, USS Atlantis has been on an awesome, wicked ride when it comes to Charity.  Whilst Colonel Loraleigh Graves is the Atlantis’ Chief Communications/Operations Officer, Loraleigh also heads up the Charity Division of the chapter as well.  Loraleigh comes to the role with expertise and experience having had a successful run on the Charity front on the USS Bondar.
